History
Misto Mare symbolizes Alois Lageder’s commitment to sustainability and diversity: it’s a bridge between vineyards in conversion and the core range, blending grapes from partners transitioning to organic/biodynamic farming. Its name evokes the ancient sea that once covered South Tyrol and hints at the blending of multiple varieties.

Blend of over 14 white and red varieties
Vinification
Gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts; part of the must has skin contact for added texture. Aged on lees for several months, with controlled fermentation and minimal intervention.

Approximately 12% vol
Tasting notes
Bright straw yellow with an elegant, multi-layered aromatic profile: floral notes, citrus, and peach. On the palate, it’s fresh, fragrant, medium-bodied, with a delicate tannic hint for vivacity and a long, persistent finish.
Food pairing
Excellent with fish dishes, seafood, sushi, and refined vegetarian cuisine. Perfect as an aperitif or with summer dishes. Serve at 12–14 °C.
