History
San Leolino is a traditional Tuscan winery located in one of the region’s most picturesque areas. 100% Merlot.
Production method
- Harvest: Handpicked, with careful grape selection to ensure quality.
- Vinification: Fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, followed by extended maceration to enhance the varietal characteristics of Merlot.
- Aging: Aged in French oak barriques for 12-15 months, followed by further aging in the bottle.

Tasting notes
- Color: Deep ruby red with violet reflections.
- Aroma: Intense aromas of blackberries, plum, and black cherry, enriched with hints of vanilla, sweet spices, and a subtle touch of chocolate.
- Taste: Soft and velvety on the palate, with silky tannins, good structure, and a long, persistent finish.
Possible pairings
Perfect with red meat dishes, game, aged cheeses, and hearty pasta dishes. Also excellent with roasts and braised meats.
