History
Crafted by Tenuta dell’Ornellaia, Le Serre Nuove is a second label designed to reflect the estate’s standards in a more accessible style. Grapes from younger vines are hand-harvested, individually processed, fermented in steel, and aged in barrique—offering uncompromised quality

Merlot 65%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Cabernet Franc 10%
Vinification
Hand harvest, separate stainless steel fermentation with controlled maceration, followed by 15 months in barrique (one-third new)

14.5%
Tasting notes
Deep ruby with purple hues. Aromas of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, light toast, and mineral nuances. Palate is juicy with polished tannins, balanced acidity, and a long aromatic finish.

Ideal with red meats, braised dishes, roasts, aged cheeses, or any moment asking for a well-crafted yet immediate red.
