The Fiorano Estate was founded by Prince Alberico Boncompagni Ludovisi in the 1940s and 1950s, with the planting of various grape varieties. He continued to produce wine until 1998, the year in which his son Alessandro Jacopo took over the company. The latter acquired another 13 hectares of land and followed his father’s example in managing the vineyards, even if he chose a few different grape varieties. The historic cellar is still secret, reserved only for a few visitors such as Luigi Veronelli.
Cabernet Sauvignon 100%
The bunches carefully selected during the manual harvest to guarantee only fully ripe grapes, once they reach the cellar they are delicately pressed and then subjected to fermentation in steel containers, using only indigenous yeasts. Subsequently, the wine passes to the refinement phase, which lasts 12 months and takes place in medium-large sized barrels, at the end of which it is ready to be bottled and marketed.
Ruby red colour. On the nose, elegant aromas can be perceived that evolve from fruit towards a universe of sweet spices. On the palate, the wine has a full body, is enveloping and offers a warm sip, characterized by an excellent balance. Its flavor persists pleasantly over time.
It goes perfectly with roasted red meat, game and aged cheeses.
