Description
History
The Fiorano Estate was founded by Prince Alberico Boncompagni Ludovisi in the 1940s and 1950s, with the planting of various grape varieties. He continued to produce wine until 1998, when his son Alessandrojacopo took over the business. The latter acquired another 13 hectares of land and followed his father’s example in managing the vineyards, even if he chose a few different grape varieties. The historic cellar is still secret, reserved only for a few visitors such as Luigi Veronelli.

Production method
The grapes are harvested manually when they reach full maturity. After destemming and a very soft pressing, the must is decanted in a natural way, bringing it to a low temperature. It is fermented in stainless steel thanks to indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for a few months in steel on its fine lees and a few months after bottling, and is then finally placed on the market.
