Description
History
Founded in 1885, Brezza Winery is located in the heart of the Langhe region, in Barolo. For generations, the Brezza family has been producing wines that reflect the tradition and unique terroir of the area, with a commitment to environmental respect and organic practices certified since 2015.
Grapes used
- 100% Nebbiolo
Production method
- Harvest: Manual, with careful selection of the grapes.
- Vinification: Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins for 6-10 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
- Aging: Maturation in stainless steel tanks for several months, without oak aging, to preserve the freshness and integrity of the fruit.
Alcohol content
- 14% vol.
Tasting notes
In the glass, the wine displays a bright ruby red color. The nose reveals an aromatic bouquet with notes of red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by floral hints of rose and violet, and a touch of orange peel. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with velvety tannins and a dry, pleasantly persistent finish.
Possible pairings
Thanks to its lightness and versatility, it pairs well with a variety of dishes, including appetizers, pasta dishes, white meats, and young cheeses. Its freshness also makes it suitable to accompany seafood dishes. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 15-16°C.
