Description

History
The Grimaldi family works with respect for the Langhe’s terroir and winemaking traditions. The Bonurei designation reflects selected parcels on limestone-marl soils that bring balance between structure and aromatic finesse. The 2024 vintage benefited from favorable conditions, yielding wines that are fresh, fruit-forward and well-balanced.

Grape variety
Nebbiolo 100%

Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes fermented in stainless steel with temperature control to retain aromatic freshness and clarity. Maceration is precisely managed to build structure without harshness, followed by natural malolactic fermentation. Ageing in steel and subsequent bottle rest before release harmonize structure and aromatics.

Alcohol content
Approx. 13.5%

Tasting notes
Bright ruby red. Aromas of fresh red fruits such as cherry, raspberry and strawberry, with subtle floral and spice hints. On the palate it is vibrant and fragrant, with gentle tannins, lively acidity and a clean, harmonious finish that invites another sip. A young, balanced and accessible Nebbiolo.

Food pairings
Pairs well with flavourful first courses, white and pink meats, cured meats, gourmet pizza, light risottos and semi-aged cheeses. Also excellent as a convivial wine for informal dinners.

Brand

Bruna Grimaldi

The company was founded in 1957 and already in 1960 Giovanni Grimaldi began to sell wine in bulk and to bottle it during the best years. From the beginning, his attention will be focused on improving the wines qualitatively and stylistically starting directly from the care of the vineyard. From 1990 the daughter Bruna Grimaldi and her husband Franco Fiorino will take over the leadership of the company, acquiring new land and bringing new knowledge; it will be the turning point of the beginning of the marketing of some products on new markets, including foreign ones. From 2013, the sons of Bruna and Franco will also take over the company, effectively reaching the third generation of the family who in turn will introduce enthusiasm and technological innovation: Simone has a degree in Oenology from the nearby and important University of Alba; Martina, on the other hand, studied Administration and had work experience in the world of wine, including abroad.
