This grappa of extraordinary maturity is aged in spruce barriques from the Val di Fiemme. This wood is very special, obtained from the renowned “Foresta dei Violini”, renowned for being the source of the finest woods in the world used in the construction of violins.
In addition to the bottle kept in an elegant fir wood box, there is an exclusive CD specially recorded for Villa de Varda: an arrangement of Paganini’s compositions edited by Salvatore Accadro, performed with an authentic Stradivarius from Val di Fiemme.

Description
History
This company was born in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, in Trentino, where the vineyards extend at the foot of the majestic Dolomites, benefiting from the kisses of the sun and the fresh breeze from Lake Garda. Each grappa contains a unique taste, which brings with it the essence of the territory of origin and the tradition handed down over time. Today, it is the sixth generation of the Dolzan family to lead the family business in Mezzolombardo, dedicating themselves to distillation and production as had already happened since the beginning of the 19th century.

Production method
The production of grappa follows a meticulous method that begins with the selection of the pomace, i.e. the skins and waste of the grapes used for the production of wine. The pomace is pressed to extract the must, which is then fermented to transform the sugars into alcohol. Subsequently, distillation takes place, which takes place through traditional or modern stills. During distillation, the volatile alcohols are separated from the unwanted components, resulting in a drink with a high alcohol content.

Tasting notes
Amber in colour, with a tinge that tends towards golden yellow. Delicate, sunny, pure, fascinating, broad, vibrant, rich, velvety, of refined elegance, with a wonderful set of fragrances that evoke the woods, nutmeg, toasted almonds, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, amaretto and freshly baked pastries. Enriched by light floral notes of elderberry, wisteria, magnolia, acacia and lily of the field, together with fruity hints of plum, apricot, raspberry, morello cherry, blueberry and very ripe red grapes. Particularly delicate, warm, persistent, aristocratic, pleasant, sincere, of great aromatic complexity and persistence, with an authoritative bouquet of fruity, floral and toasted notes, supported by a light resin finish.
Usage
It is indicated as after-dinner/after-dinner or digestive, or for moments of relaxation, better if in company! Perfect as a gift for someone special.
