Description
History
Flor de Caña is produced by Compañía Licorera de Nicaragua, founded in 1890, located in the sugar cane plantation of Chichigalpa at the foot of the San Cristóbal volcano. This rum is part of the brand’s “Centenario” line, reserved for its most aged expressions. Each bottle results from long aging in bourbon‑used oak barrels, under a sustainability policy that includes green energy, no added sugars, and environmental respect.

Tasting notes
On the nose: red fruits, honey, toasted nuts; on the palate: vanilla, baked apple, sweet wood, and gentle spice, with a smooth, balanced finish that isn’t overly sweet.
Food pairing
Best enjoyed neat, possibly with a single large ice cube; pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, caramel or nut‑based desserts, or spiced dishes. Also works well in cocktails when you want a rich but not overly sweet rum.
