History
Fattoria del Cerro is a historic winery in the Montepulciano area, deeply rooted in Tuscan winemaking tradition. The Rosso di Montepulciano is crafted to showcase the youthful, fresh side of the region, with clean fruit, elegant drinkability and a bright, approachable character. The 2024 vintage reflects the estate’s philosophy of harmony and accessibility.

Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve freshness and aromatics. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages mainly in steel to retain its fruit-driven profile, followed by a short bottle rest prior to release for balanced expression.

Tasting notes
Bright ruby red colour. On the nose: fresh red fruit such as cherry and raspberry, with subtle floral and spice nuances. On the palate: smooth, with soft tannins, balanced acidity and a clean, persistent finish. A fresh, easy-drinking wine.
Food pairings
Pairs well with savoury first courses like pappardelle with ragù, grilled white meats, charcuterie, gourmet pizza and fresh or semi-aged cheeses. Also excellent on its own as an everyday wine.
