Description
History
The Cuna project began when Federico Staderini—an acclaimed Brunello winemaker—planted Pinot Nero vines between 2004 and 2007 in Casentino. Named after the small village of Monteroni d’Arbia, the wine is sourced from seven micro-vineyards harvested at different times to capture multiple expressions of the grape. Crafted with native yeasts in open-top fermenters, it ages in old barriques, reflecting artisanal care and purity.

Spontaneous fermentation in open wooden vats with indigenous yeasts. Aged 15–20 months in second-use barriques and large barrels, unfiltered to preserve varietal nuance and finesse.
