Description
History
Duemani is a renowned Tuscan winery specializing in elegant wines produced according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Located in Riparbella, near the Tuscan coast, the winery cultivates international vines such as Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot in clayey soils with pebbles. Fermentation and aging take place in terracotta amphorae, cement vats and French oak barrels. The resulting wines are enveloping, expressive and perfectly represent the personality of the Tuscan coast. The “Duemani” (Cabernet Franc) and the “Suisassi” (Syrah) are the flagships of the cellar.

Production method
The vineyards are located at an altitude between 220 and 250 meters, cultivated with the Guyot training system. The density of the vines is 8400 per hectare, with an average age of 19 years. Each plant produces about 1 kg of grapes. The soils are mainly clayey and rich in limestone.
The harvest takes place in the first ten days of September, with selection of the grapes directly in the vineyard and manual harvesting in small boxes. The vintage produced high quality, balanced and juicy grapes. Fermentation takes place in cement vats at a controlled temperature, with a short maceration on the skins for 15 days. After racking, the wine continues its maturation in concrete vats.
The wine is not subjected to clarification or filtration, thus preserving its integrity and character.

Tasting notes
This wine stands out for its intense and vibrant red fruit, with notes of black cherry, blackberry and blueberry that blend harmoniously with soft and delicate tannins. The lively acidity and abundant freshness give the wine a luminous presence of fruit and a genuine and pure character.
Possible combinations
Its red fruit expression and pure character make it versatile and suitable for many occasions. Perfect with meat dishes such as roast beef or lamb, aged cheeses and cured meats. Also ideal with pasta dishes such as meat sauce or tomato sauce. It can accompany vegetarian dishes such as eggplant parmesan or grilled mushrooms. An excellent companion also for pizza.
