The Baldetti winery is a historic estate located in the Cortona area of Tuscany that has been producing high quality wines for generations. Founded at the end of the 19th century by Giuseppe Baldetti, the company has continued to be managed by the Baldetti family, passing from father to son until today.
The passion for viticulture has been handed down from generation to generation, and today the Baldetti company represents an important reality in the Tuscan wine scene. The Baldetti estate covers an area of about 20 hectares of vineyards, where mainly Syrah and Sangiovese grapes are grown.
The grapes, harvested in nano, were taken to the cellar of the Baldetti estate, where they were destemmed and delicately pressed to extract the must. The must was then fermented for several days in wooden barrels, before being left to mature in French oak barrels for approximately 18 months.
Intense ruby red colour. On the nose aromas of berries, spices and vanilla notes. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied, with soft tannins and a long, persistent finish.
It can be combined with first and second courses of red meat, game, mushrooms, but also for meditation.
