Description
History
The Baldetti winery is a historic estate located in the Cortona area of Tuscany that has been producing high quality wines for generations. Founded at the end of the 19th century by Giuseppe Baldetti, the company has continued to be managed by the Baldetti family, passing from father to son until today.
The passion for viticulture has been handed down from generation to generation, and today the Baldetti company represents an important reality in the Tuscan wine scene. The Baldetti estate covers an area of about 20 hectares of vineyards, where mainly Syrah and Sangiovese grapes are grown.

Production method
The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed to extract the must, which is then fermented in stainless steel barrels at a controlled temperature for about 10 days.
After fermentation, the wine is left to mature in French oak barrels for about 12 months,

Tasting notes
Intense ruby red color, with aromas of berries, spices and wood notes. In the mouth, the Cortona Sangiovese DOC Marius 2018 Baldetti is elegant and harmonious, with soft tannins and a persistent and pleasant finish.
Possible combinations
This wine is perfect to accompany meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses.
