Cantina Giuseppe Cortese, founded in 1971 in the Langhe region, is a family winery committed to highlighting native Piedmontese varieties and interpreting terroir with balance. The Langhe Dolcetto belongs to the company’s accessible, modern-style offerings designed to showcase the Dolcetto grape in a transparent and approachable way.

Vinification
Grapes are vinified in stainless steel to preserve fruit and freshness; aging also takes place in steel. The alcohol content is around 12% according to the 2024 commercial data.

Tasting notes
Ruby red colour with violet hues. On the nose: cherry, raspberry, subtle floral notes and a light mineral undertone. The palate delivers soft tannins, good acidity and a clean, pleasant finish—perfect for immediate enjoyment without sacrificing character.
Food pairings
Pairs excellently with tomato-based pasta dishes, grilled white meats, cold cuts and fresh-to-semi-aged cheeses. Also great as an aperitif wine or for casual gatherings with friends.
