History
The Domaine Castagnier, located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, is a family-run winery renowned for its attention to detail and respect for Burgundian traditions. Clos Saint Denis, one of the five Grand Cru vineyards of Morey-Saint-Denis, is celebrated for producing wines of great finesse and depth, blending the power of the terroir with unparalleled elegance.

- Harvest: Handpicked, with rigorous selection of the best bunches.
- Vinification: Traditional fermentation in wooden vats, with extended maceration to enhance aroma and structure extraction.
- Aging: Aged in French oak barrels for approximately 18-20 months, with a percentage of new oak to enrich the aromatic profile.

- Color: Bright ruby red with garnet highlights.
- Aroma: Intense and complex, featuring notes of ripe red fruits like cherry and raspberry, dried flowers, sweet spices, and hints of underbrush and leather.
- Taste: Elegant and structured, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish that reflects the terroir’s typicity.

Perfect with red meats, game, roasts, and aged cheeses. Also excellent with dishes featuring mushrooms and truffles.
