Description
History
The company was founded in 1996 by Giuliano and Martino Marescotti, who had the desire to create a high quality winery.
The estate covers approximately 20 hectares of land, of which 14 hectares are planted with vineyards, located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural methods.
The Chianti Classico produced by Tenuta La Novella is made mainly with Sangiovese grapes, the typical grape variety of the Chianti region, but also with small quantities of other native grape varieties such as Canaiolo and Colorino. The philosophy of the company is to produce high quality wines that reflect the territory and the tradition of the Chianti Classico region.
