History
Conceived by Mauro Bennati and continued by his family, L’Acero is a passion project deeply rooted in place. After thirty years guiding others, Bennati launched his own venture focused on vineyard sustainability and small-scale production. The 2022 Chianti Classico is the embodiment of this commitment, clearly articulating the essence of the region.

Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts. No oak aging, to preserve aromatic clarity, acidity, and balance.

Tasting notes
Bright ruby red. Aromas of cherry, wild berries, forest floor, with spicy and subtly mineral hints. On the palate it’s well-balanced, with lively freshness, elegant tannins, and a savory, enduring finish.
Food pairings
Pairs beautifully with hearty first courses like ragù pappardelle, meat roasts, Tuscan salumi, and semi-aged cheeses.
