Description
History
Domaine Chandon de Briailles belongs to the de Nicolay family, blending tradition and innovation. The estate uses soil‑respectful practices, high proportions of whole‑cluster vinification, and minimal new oak. The “Les Vergelesses” parcel sits lower on the slope, with clay, iron, and limestone soils. In 2022 vinification followed a traditional path: cement vats, spontaneous fermentations, moderate maceration and 18‑month aging with about 10 % new oak.
