Description
History
Maison Salmon, founded in 1958, is located in Chaumuzy, in the heart of the Ardre Valley. With a vineyard area of 10 hectares, the estate is renowned for its expertise in utilizing Meunier, which accounts for 85% of the vineyards. The Sélection cuvée reflects the Salmon family’s commitment to enhancing the terroir and Champagne traditions.

Production Method
The grapes come from the communes of Chaumuzy, Chambrecy, Villes-en-Tardenois, and Sarcy. Vinification is carried out separately by plot, with a rigorous selection of juices to highlight the delicacy of Meunier. The dosage is 9 g/L, giving the wine a balance between freshness and softness.

Tasting Notes
It presents a bright straw yellow color with fine and persistent bubbles. The nose reveals aromas of citrus, white-fleshed fruit, and delicate pastry notes. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with pleasant minerality and a balanced, persistent finish.

Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs wonderfully with seafood dishes, shellfish, sushi, and light appetizers. Also excellent with fresh cheeses and fruit-based desserts.
