Production method
Collection 244 is composed of 54% wines from the 2019 harvest, characterized by extreme weather conditions that produced exceptionally ripe and fresh grapes. The remaining 46% of the blend includes 36% Réserve Perpétuelle, a reserve started in 2012 and enriched each year, and 10% of reserve wines aged in oak barrels. After blending, the Champagne matures on the lees for about 48 months, developing complexity and aromatic depth. The dosage is 7 g/l, classifying it as Brut.
Alcohol content
12% vol.
Tasting notes
In the glass, it displays a bright golden color with fine and persistent bubbles. The nose reveals complex aromas of yellow-fleshed fruits, candied citrus, toasted hazelnut, and delicate brioche notes, accompanied by subtle chalky minerality. On the palate, the Champagne offers a harmonious structure, with lively freshness balancing the richness of fruity flavors and elegant creaminess. The finish is long, featuring a pleasant saline note and a slight smoky nuance.
Possible pairings
Perfect as a refined aperitif, it pairs excellently with fish dishes, shellfish, and delicate white meats. Ideal with prawn tartare with white truffle or high-quality sushi and sashimi. Also complements soft cheeses and not overly sweet desserts, such as a lemon tart.
