Description
History
Located in Morey-Saint-Denis, the Domaine Gérard Peirazeau et Fils is a historic family estate with a four-generation winemaking tradition. Covering 3.65 hectares, the domaine produces 13 appellations, including 5 renowned Grand Crus such as Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, and Bonnes Mares. Most of the vineyards consist of old vines, averaging 60 years in age, cultivated using sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

Production Method
Hand-harvested grapes are fully destemmed to avoid excessive tannins. Fermentation utilizes indigenous yeasts without added substances. Maceration occurs in stainless steel tanks for 2-4 weeks, with gentle manual pump-overs and punch-downs for soft extraction. The wine is aged in oak barrels, imparting complexity and depth.

In the glass, it displays an intense ruby red color.
