History
The Donna Olimpia estate is located in the heart of the Bolgheri area, one of Tuscany’s most prestigious regions for high-quality wine production. Founded in 1898 and named after the wife of the Marquis of Incisa della Rocchetta, the winery today represents a blend of tradition and modernity, with a strong commitment to sustainability and excellence. Each label is an authentic expression of the unique Maremma terroir.

Production Method
The grapes are carefully selected and vinified separately to enhance the characteristics of each variety. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for about 12 months, followed by additional bottle refinement to achieve the perfect balance between freshness and complexity.

Tasting Notes
It displays a deep, bright ruby red color. The nose reveals notes of ripe red and black fruits such as cherry and blackberry, enriched by elegant hints of vanilla, dark chocolate, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with soft, well-integrated tannins. Freshness accompanies a long and persistent finish, leaving a pleasant sensation of balance and harmony.

This Bolgheri pairs wonderfully with red meat dishes, roasts, and game. It is also perfect with hearty first courses such as wild boar pappardelle or baked lasagna, as well as aged cheeses. Thanks to its structure, it is ideal for elegant dinners or convivial moments.
