History
Original distillery located in Borgomanero, Piedmont, founded by two friends passionate about the spirits sector. Glep Beverages, this is the name of the distillery, offers a range of liqueurs that refer to the ancient flavors of the best tradition.
Production method
Traditional alcohol infusion techniques of roots, plants, herbs, flowers and spices. The original recipe includes sweet orange, bitter orange, St. John’s wort, rhubarb, cassia, gentian, quassio and a secret selection of other botanicals. After the extraction of the aromas into alcohol, the Bitter is diluted with pure water to reduce its alcohol content, keeping it dry to preserve the characteristic bitter taste.

Tasting notes
Ruby red, with bright amaranth reflections. On the nose, it reveals an intense and decisive bouquet, with aromas of citrus peel, bitter orange, bergamot, rhubarb, wild mountain herbs and nuances of gentian. The taste is dry and deep, with citrus, vegetal and spicy aromas, which express great elegance and a harmonious taste persistence. The finish is long, with notes of bitter orange and soft spices.
Usage
It can be consumed alone, as an aperitif, or used as an ingredient for the preparation of cocktails and mixed drinks.
