Description
History
Querciabella was born as a company in 1974 when Giuseppe Castiglioni, an entrepreneur already active in Mexico, decided to take over the estate, so called by the inhabitants of Greve due to its proximity to a large oak adjacent to the house.
Grapes used

Pinot Blanc 50%
Production method
The Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes are gently pressed on arrival in the cellar, separately. The resulting musts are sent to fermentation using natural yeasts present on the grape, inside French oak barrels. After at least 9 months of aging in barrique, only the best lots are selected for the creation of the final assembly of the cuvée, made up of the two varieties half and half. The wine thus obtained is then transferred to concrete tanks, where it rests for six months before bottling. Finally, the wine further ages in the cellar for six months before being considered ready for marketing.

Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow colour. Notes of white flowers, ripe fruit with a finish that instead veers towards spices and boisé. In the mouth it has structure but also finesse and elegance.
Possible combinations
White wine for special occasions. Excellent if combined with important second courses.
