Description
History
Cascina Rabaglio is a winery located in the heart of the Langhe region, in Barbaresco, founded in 2005 by Filippo Rigo, his sister Daniela, and Andrea Salatin. The estate is dedicated to producing high-quality wines, respecting local traditions and emphasizing native grape varieties like Nebbiolo.
Grapes used
- 100% Nebbiolo
Production method
- Harvest: Manual, carried out in mid-October.
- Vinification: Traditional fermentation with skin maceration to extract aromas and tannins.
- Aging: 16 months in large oak barrels, followed by a period of bottle aging.
Alcohol content
- 15% vol.
Tasting notes
- Color: Bright ruby red.
- Aroma: Notes of blueberry, rose, tobacco, and mint.
- Taste: Elegant and structured, with fine tannins and a persistent finish.

Pairs excellently with grilled or roasted meats, ragù, game, stews, tomato-based dishes, and aged cheeses.
