Description
History
Produced by the historic Farina winery in the heart of Valpolicella Classica — one of the most esteemed areas in the Verona wine landscape — this Amarone honors tradition while expressing a modern sense of balance and finesse.
Grape variety
70% Corvina, 10% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella, 10% Molinara
Vinification
Hand-selected grapes are dried naturally after harvest. Following fermentation and clarification rackings, the wine is aged at least 24 months in Slavonian oak casks (20–30 hl) and then bottle-aged without filtration to refine aromatic complexity and texture.
Alcohol content
16% vol.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with garnet highlights. Aromas of cherry, spirit-soaked fruit, spice, cocoa and balsamic nuances. On the palate: dry, warm and velvety, with a firm structure, integrated tannins and balanced acidity leading to a refined and persistent finish.
Food pairings
Pairs beautifully with hearty game, roasted meats, braised dishes and aged hard cheeses. Also outstanding as a contemplative wine for special moments.
