Description
History
Equipped with a solid background and motivated by great enthusiasm, Count Michael Goëss-Enzenberg decided to found his own winery with the aim of producing high-quality and distinctive wines. The process began in the vineyards: to improve quality, the yield was strictly limited and the most natural approach possible was adopted. In 1996, the winery began producing its first six wines. In 2004, the new “cellar under the vineyard” designed by Walter Angonese and Rainer Köberl was inaugurated. It fully represents the philosophy that guides the life and work of the company, becoming a popular destination for wine and architecture enthusiasts.

Production method
Fermentation takes place in wooden vats, naturally thanks to local yeasts. During the five months of aging in oak barrels and in contact with the yeasts, both the aroma and flavor were perfected.

Tasting notes
Ruby red colour. Subtle hints of cherries and toasted almonds are perceived on the nose. The taste is intense and pleasant, with an elegant persistence in the mouth.
Possible combinations
It pairs perfectly with typical South Tyrolean dishes such as speck, but also with pasta-based first courses, white meats and roasts. It is also interesting in combination with fish.
