For many years, Terlan has represented the maximum expression of refinement and durability in Alto Adige. Founded in 1893 in its namesake locality, not far from Merano, the Terlano winery is one of the most innovative producer cooperatives not only in Alto Adige but throughout Italy. The 143 members cultivate a total of 165 hectares of vineyards, with an annual production that exceeds one million bottles. These numbers are reflected in the quality of their white and red wines, which are loved by both the public and critics.
Sauvignon blanc 100%
The grapes, carefully chosen during the harvest, undergo a slow fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine matures for nine months, both in large wooden barrels and in stainless steel barrels.
Golden yellow color, very vivid and bright. The scent is deep and complex, with notes of fruit, including exotic ones, which intertwine with enveloping mineral accents and aromas of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is rich, full-bodied and round, offering an elegant sip and a pleasant saline persistence that makes the tasting experience extremely satisfying.
Perfect to appreciate in all its aromatic nuances if drunk by the glass for lovers of the genre. Excellent with delicate asparagus dishes or fish dishes with herbs.
