Description
History
Launched in 2008, “Al Passo del Leone Bianco” was Alois Lageder’s first Demeter-certified wine, embodying the estate’s biodynamic vision. Its purpose is to positively influence partner growers toward sustainable practices. Today, it perfectly expresses the winery’s philosophy through a harmonious blend of grapes harvested at full ripeness across South Tyrol.

Müller Thurgau, Pinot Grigio, Moscato Giallo, Gewürztraminer
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel followed by approximately 4 months on fine lees, preserving aromatic purity and freshness.
Alcohol content
Approximately 12 % vol.
Tasting notes
Light straw-yellow with greenish hues. Aromas of elderflower, white fruit, and subtle spice. On the palate it’s mineral, juicy, fresh, lively with a delicate, savory finish.
Food pairing
Perfect with fish-based appetizers, shellfish, light white meats, poultry, and fresh cheeses; also delightful as an aperitif. Serve at 10–12 °C.
