History
The Ricci Curbastro family has been cultivating vineyards in Franciacorta for more than a century and is considered one of the historic producers of the appellation. The estate has played an important role in establishing the reputation of Franciacorta through its commitment to quality and tradition. First produced in 1982, the Rosé Brut has become one of the winery’s signature labels, also recognised for its elegant frosted bottle that highlights the wine’s beautiful salmon colour.

Vinification
The Pinot Noir undergoes a brief skin maceration to extract its delicate rosé colour before fermenting in stainless steel tanks. Secondary fermentation takes place in bottle according to the traditional Franciacorta method. The wine ages on its lees for at least 36 months, followed by disgorgement with a 4 g/L dosage and several additional months of bottle ageing before release.

12.5% ABV.
Tasting notes
Brilliant salmon pink with a fine, persistent mousse. The bouquet reveals aromas of black cherry, ripe jujube, wild berries, mountain herbs and delicate rose petals. On the palate it is vibrant and structured, balancing lively freshness with creamy texture, ripe fruit and a long, mineral finish of remarkable elegance.
Food pairings
An exceptionally versatile Franciacorta that pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, seafood carpaccio, tartare, sushi, seafood pasta, baked fish, white meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. Its balance and persistence make it an excellent sparkling wine for the entire meal.
