History
Produced by Stefano Farkas at Valle di Lazzaro, this Vermentino comes from a project to restore and valorize Elba’s historic vineyards. The winemaking philosophy is natural and respectful of the environment, with a strong sense of island identity.

Vinification (and aging)
Cold skin maceration, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, aging on fine lees to enhance saltiness and structure. No clarification or aggressive filtration, in line with a minimal, honest style.

13.5%
Tasting notes
Straw yellow with golden reflections. On the nose: white peach, citrus, wild herbs and field flowers, with a subtle saline touch. On the palate: fresh, taut, marine and persistent, with a dry and elegant finish.
Food pairings
Excellent with white fish, shellfish, seafood salads, light white meats and grilled vegetables. Also perfect as a summer aperitif.
