Description
History
La Staffa is a young winery led by Riccardo Baldi, located in the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi denomination. With an artisanal and environmentally respectful approach, the company enhances the Marche terroir through expressive and characterful wines.
Grapes used
100% Verdicchio.
Production method
The grapes, from vineyards situated at about 400 meters above sea level, are hand-harvested. Vinification occurs in steel and cement tanks, with spontaneous fermentation and aging on fine lees for several months, aiming to preserve freshness and aromatic complexity.

13.5% vol.
Tasting notes

Color: Intense straw yellow.

Nose: Notes of white-fleshed fruit, flowers, hay, and flint, with pleasant saline and vegetal hints.

Palate: Fresh, clean, with good sapidity and a decisive personality.

Excellent with seafood appetizers, vegetable or mushroom-based first courses, white meats, and fresh cheeses.
