Description
History
Sebastian Nasello and Ugo Fabbri, two young Tuscan friends, share an authentic passion for the world of wine and viticulture. After years of study and experience, exploring the best local wineries and beyond, they decided to create Bakkanali. This project, inspired by Roman banquets that celebrated the joy of life, was born with the aim of producing authentic, convivial and sincere Tuscan wines, which genuinely represent the territory without frills, following an approach free from rules and regulations. It all happens in a “new” terroir, Poggioferro, at 600 m above sea level. at the foot of Mount Amiata; all this guarantees complexity at soil level, Amiata being an ancient extinct volcano, altimetric conditions, temperature variations and the de facto absence of rigid regulations that impose certain types of practices and winemaking.
