Description
History
The name “Terre” evokes its shared origin with the flagship “San Leonardo” wine. This blend is born from similar soils and a vision of balance between power and harmony. The 2022 edition reinforces the estate’s artisanal approach: fermentation in steel vats with extended maceration, calibrated oak usage, and bottle aging prior to release.

50 % Cabernet Franc, 50 % Merlot
Vinification
After light destemming, alcoholic fermentation takes place in vats with daily punch-downs. Around 80 % of the wine ages for 18 months in large Slavonian oak casks of 60 hl, while 20 % matures in French oak barriques for at least 6 months. Finally, further bottle aging precedes release.

Tasting notes
Ruby red with garnet hues. On the nose: cherry, red raspberry, aromatic herbs, sweet spice and a refined balsamic touch. On the palate it is rich and silky, with well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity and a long harmonious finish with fruit and spice echoes.
Food pairing
Pairs beautifully with roasted red meats, braised dishes, game, strongly flavored Italian cuisine, and aged cheeses. Serve at 16‑18 °C, and decant 30 to 60 minutes before tasting, if possible.
