Description
History
Located in Radda in Chianti (Tuscany), Tenuta di Carleone has a history dating back to 1078. Today, the estate is managed with organic and biodynamic methods. Vineyards lie between 450 and 700 m elevation on mixed soils of alberese and galestro, which impart a vertical and minerally profile to the wines. The 2022 vintage reinforces the estate’s approach: local focus, respect for soil, minimal intervention winemaking.

Tasting notes
Deep ruby red. Aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, violet petals, white pepper and a marked mineral note thanks to the soils. On the palate: medium body, fine yet present tannins, lively acidity, well-integrated structure and a clean, persistent finish.
Food pairings
Pairs excellently with roasted red meats, light game, sautéed mushrooms, pasta with ragù, aged cheeses. Also great enjoyed on its own in good company.
