Description
History
The ancient and noble origins of the Soccorso farm are linked to the figure of Prof. Riccardo Paccagnini, a family ancestor recently defined as “a pioneer of Brunello”. He was one of the first inhabitants of Montalcino to also deal with the marketing of this wine. In 1870, the first wine with the “Brunello” label was born here, which received important recognition in Rome, Paris, Marseille and Bordeaux. Numerous certificates, medals and prizes obtained by Brunello Soccorso in the 19th century are preserved in the company as historical documents of great importance.
