History
Renzo Marinai revived and elevated the Podere di Cecione in Panzano in Chianti, turning it into a high-quality organic wine estate. The property, located in one of the area’s natural crus, is managed with deep respect for sustainability and biodiversity, aiming to produce authentic, expressive and long-lasting wines.

Sangiovese 90%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Vinification
Fermentation in stainless steel with extended maceration on the skins and controlled temperature, followed by aging in oak barrels and barriques for about 18 months, and further refinement in bottle.

Tasting notes
Deep ruby red color. The nose opens with ripe red fruits, black pepper and nutmeg, tobacco, and a light balsamic hint. The palate is full and enveloping, with velvety tannins, well-balanced freshness and a long, harmonious finish.
Food pairing
Perfect with rich meat dishes like roasts, game, braised meats, and aged cheeses. Also suitable for cellaring over multiple vintages.
