Description

History
Founded in the 1930s by Pierre Ramonet, the estate is now managed by his grandsons Jean-Claude and Noël. Located in Chassagne-Montrachet, at the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Ramonet is renowned for producing top-quality white wines that authentically express the terroir.

Grapes used

  • 100% Chardonnay

Production method
Grapes from vines over 35 years old on limestone soils are hand-harvested. After gentle pressing, the must ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels, about 30% of which are new. The wine is aged for 12-18 months on fine lees, with limited bâtonnage, preserving its purity and complexity.

Alcohol content
13.5% vol.

  • Color: Bright straw yellow.

  • Nose: Aromas of white flowers, citrus, white peach, and flinty mineral notes.

  • Palate: Full and creamy structure, with vibrant acidity, salinity, and a long, harmonious finish.

Ideal with fish dishes, shellfish, white meats, and soft cheeses. Also perfect with Tuscan cuisine, such as porcini mushroom risotto.
