Poderina is located in the heart of the Brunello di Montalcino appellation, with vineyards on sun-drenched slopes and soils rich in alberese and galestro. The estate’s philosophy balances tradition with artisanal care through low yields, hand harvests and extended ageing, allowing the wine to achieve complexity and harmony. The 2020 vintage reflects favourable climatic conditions, producing wines with structure, vibrant freshness and refined elegance.

Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature with extended maceration to gain structure and finesse. Aged over 24 months in large Slavonian oak casks, followed by further bottle rest before release to harmonise components and enhance integration.

Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with garnet hues. Aromas of ripe red fruits, plum and cherry, with sweet spice, tobacco and a hint of balsamic. On the palate: full and enveloping, with refined yet substantial tannins, well-balanced acidity and a long, elegant finish with persistent fruit and spice notes.
