Description
History
Podere la Civettaia was born in 2005 from the idea of Vincenzo Tommasi who decided to plant Pinot Noir in Tuscany. The company has 3 hectares of vineyards and follows the dictates of organic farming. Vinify each particle individually to assemble them later. In 2010 Vincenzo himself founded the Pinot Noir Producers Association of the Tuscan Apennines.

The refinement lasts 12 months in old barriques, 10 in concrete tanks and at least 9 months in the bottle.

Tasting notes
Brilliant ruby red colour. On the nose notes of small red fruits typical of the vine, blackberry and red currant, with pleasant floral, balsamic and fine spice notes such as black pepper and vanilla. In the mouth it is elegant, enveloping, full-bodied, with light and elegant tannins and a lively final freshness.
Possible combinations
Ideal on first courses with tomato and meat sauce, tasty cheeses and second courses of red meat.
