Description
History
Jean-Claude Courtault acquired the first vineyards in 1984; in 1995 the surface area expanded to 12 hectares. In 2021, Stéphanie (daughter of JC) and her husband Vincent merged the two family domains, resulting in a total area of 29 hectares, which also includes some distinct vineyards such as Mont de Milieu (classified as 1er Cru) and Valmur (classified as Grand Cru). The distinctive soil of this area is known as “Kimmeridge”, a limestone rock formation rich in marine fossils.
