History
Located in the municipality of Brignano-Frascata, among the Tortona hills, one of the most important wine-growing areas in Piedmont. The wine-growing activity is the result of the collaboration of a small group of trusted collaborators, united by a common respect and love for the land. The key approach has always been to adopt an organic cultivation method, focused on environmental sustainability to best protect the integrity of these native vines of the Tortona hills.

Production method
Each batch of grapes is processed separately. It begins with a delicate destemming, followed by fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for a period of 15-20 days, during which punching down and pumping over are carried out daily. Subsequently, the wine is aged in large oak barrels for about a year, and then rests in steel tanks for another six months.

Tasting notes
Intense ruby red color. On the nose it has spicy hints, enriched by notes of small red fruits such as raspberries, blackberries, cherries, as well as nuances of black pepper, roses and sage. On the palate, it is juicy, balanced and smooth, characterized by a pleasant ease of drinking.
Possible pairings
Ideal to accompany risottos and baked pasta, roasts and red meats, typical Piedmontese cheeses such as gorgonzola, bross, toma and raschera.
