Grapes used
-
100% Chardonnay
Production method
The grapes come from the communes of Montagny, Buxy, Saint-Vallerin, and Jully-les-Buxy, located in the southern part of the Côte Chalonnaise. The soil consists of limestone and clay. After manual harvesting and slow pressing, the must is transferred to oak barrels (with 10% to 15% new wood) for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Aging lasts between 12 and 14 months, during which the wine develops complexity and structure.
