Description
History
The Tupinier-Bautista family has cultivated vineyards in the Mercurey region for generations, with a particular focus on Premier Cru parcels. The Clos du Roy, one of the most prestigious plots, is farmed using traditional methods and a deep respect for the terroir, producing wines that capture the essence of the Côte Chalonnaise.
Grapes used
100% Pinot Noir.
Production method
- Harvest: Handpicked, with careful selection of the grapes in the vineyard.
- Vinification: Traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, followed by a long maceration to extract aromas and structure.
- Aging: Aged in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months, with a small percentage of new oak to add complexity and depth.

- Color: Deep ruby red.
- Aroma: Elegant aromas of ripe red and black fruits, sweet spices, and delicate toasted notes.
- Taste: Structured and silky on the palate, with well-integrated tannins, lively freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.
