Description
History
Marisa Cuomo and her husband Andrea Ferraioli founded the winery in 1980 in Furore, a small village on the Amalfi Coast. Fiorduva was created to highlight native varieties like Fenile, Ginestra, and Ripoli, cultivated on steep terraces requiring heroic viticulture.
Grape varieties
40% Ripoli, 30% Fenile, 30% Ginestra.
Vinification
The hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed. The must ferments in French oak barriques at controlled temperatures for about 3 months, followed by bottle aging before release.
Alcohol content
14.5% vol.
