Description
History
A flagship label from Firriato, one of the region’s pioneering Etna producers. “Le Sabbie” is distinguished by its aromatic complexity and mineral clarity derived from sandy volcanic soils. Hand-harvested in mid-October, it reflects the area’s cool, luminous climate.
Grape varieties
80% Carricante, 20% Catarratto.
Vinification
Gentle pressing followed by temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation. Aged sur‑lie for about 3 months with daily bâtonnage to enhance body and texture.

Tasting notes
Straw yellow with green highlights . Aromas of mimosa, broom, white peach, and pear, with a clear volcanic minerality. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fresh, sapid, with a persistent, slightly citrus finish.
Suggested pairings
Serve chilled at 10–12 °C. Excellent with seafood starters, shellfish, sushi, baked fish, light risottos, fresh cheeses, ideal as an aperitif or with Mediterranean dishes
