Created by Mauro Bennati’s family venture, L’Acero is inspired by the strength and heritage of the red maple tree—symbolizing rootedness and generational continuity.
Grape variety
100% Sangiovese .
Vinification
Hand‑harvested grapes undergo 10 days cool cement fermentation, followed by 27 days skin maceration. The wine matures 24 months in 15‑hl wooden barrels, then 6 months in cement before bottling.

13.5% .
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red. Aromas of red fruit and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full, persistent, with well‑integrated tannins, showcasing the characteristic balance of top‑quality Sangiovese.
Suggested pairings
Perfect with grilled or braised red meats, traditional ragù, cured meats, and aged cheeses. Best enjoyed after an hour of decanting to reveal its complexity and structure.
