Description
History
Made by the historic Azienda Vinicola Farina in the Valpolicella Classica zone — a region with deep viticultural roots — this Valpolicella DOC reflects the winery’s blend of tradition and careful modern winemaking. Farina focuses on vineyard quality and gentle cellar techniques to produce elegant, clean wines.
Grape variety
45% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella, 5% Molinara — a typical Valpolicella blend.
Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in stainless steel under controlled temperatures to preserve freshness and varietal aromas. After fermentation, the wine is aged in steel and bottle before release to retain its balance and drinkability.
Alcohol content
Approx. 12.5% vol.
Tasting notes
Bright ruby red colour with aromas of fresh red fruit such as cherry, plum and raspberry, and gentle floral and herbal hints. On the palate it’s dry, harmonious and well balanced, with soft tannins and a pleasant, light finish.
Food pairings
Pairs well with everyday Italian dishes — tomato-based pasta, grilled white meats, light roasts, charcuterie and fresh cheeses. Also excellent with pizza or regional Veneto cuisine.
