Description
History
The term “Recioto” derives from the dialect word “recia,” indicating the upper part of the grape cluster, deemed the most prized. This wine has ancient origins, dating back to Roman times, and is considered the predecessor of Amarone. The Farina family, with over a century of experience in viticulture, has kept this tradition alive, producing wines that express the authenticity of the Valpolicella territory.

Production method
The grapes are harvested in the hills of Negrar and undergo traditional drying in “fruttai,” during which they lose part of their water content, concentrating sugars and aromas. After fermentation, the wine ages for several months in stainless steel, followed by further bottle aging, thus preserving its fruity and floral characteristics.
